Beach and King Street Inn is an elegant yet casual Bed and Breakfast. It has been a gracious home or Inn since the mid 1700’s. Always considered a beautiful building in its own right - present owners Laurie Nugent and artist Tim Giarrosso have restored and created a beach front retreat for their guests. Laurie and Tim are the former owners of Half Moon Harry, Inc., a unique contemporary craft gallery in the heart of Rockport’s Bearskin Neck. The two have incorporated their artistic style to create this beautiful Beachfront Inn.

Along with the one of kind art pieces they have collected, they are also featuring local artists such as John Caggiano, Donald Mosher, Joe Correale and Tim Giarrosso in the rooms. Donald Mosher’s Front Beach painting, seen on our website banner, was painted from the Beach and King Street Inn’s front porch.

All paintings, giclée and prints are available for purchase.

The Inn is just few minutes walk from the village center and its many seafood restaurants, art galleries and unique shops.

For your additional convenience, the entire Inn has wireless internet access.

Each Morning...there will be coffee, teas and continental breakfast available to be enjoyed on our porch overlooking Front Beach or on the dining table in the Main Room. Enjoy a beautiful fire on the cool days or perhaps you would like a tray to bring up to your room and enjoy the views in private.

Each Afternoon...there will be an iced cold pitcher of drinks and homemade cookies made available for our guests.

Any Time At All...our porch is the place for people watching, beach watching and just enjoying the ocean breeze. Here you will also find rocking chairs and beach chairs, towels, beach umbrella, a basket to throw your sandy towels in after the beach, and a hose just for you to wash the sand off your toes.

And for those rainy or cool days, please feel free to sit and enjoy our Main Room, also overlooking the beach. Relax, read a good book or sketch the beautiful landscape.

Your innkeepers, Laurie Nugent and Tim Giarrosso, have lived and raised 3 daughters in Rockport for the past 21 years. They ran a contemporary craft gallery, Half Moon Harry, for 18 of those 21 years. They are now designing their own product for catalogs and corporate venues.

The Beach & King Street Inn has a cat named Blue and a small non-barking, non-shedding cockapoo dog named Winnie.
